This one was weird. Yep, I’m saying it straight up. I’m a bit like, what the hell did I just read?

Boone is an interesting character and I feel that there should be more to learn about him in the next two parts of this series. He seems dangerous that’s for sure.

Charity is the dirty girl who during the day portrays herself as the nice girl, the good girl, but by night she likes to f*ck random men in bathroom stalls.

Boone seems to like watching her, and one day he gives her a proposition of a deal. This was intriguing and we only slightly delve into the deal in this part of the series. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially with the club that he takes her to at the end of the book.

I will say that this book was hot, lots of sex and descriptive sex scenes, but the characters seemed like they had no emotion to me. I need to be able to connect to characters I’m reading about and these ones I wasn’t able to do that with.

I’m curious enough that I’ll probably read part two to see what happens, but I don’t feel as attached to it as I have to other books I’ve read.
