Once again we meet DCI Erika Foster on the hunt for a serial killer. Still battling her own demons and scars because of her husbands death, she still shows what a determined character she is.
I quite like her character, she’s like a bull at a gate and even if she blurs the lines sometimes, she does so for the right reasons. Her hunches are usually pretty spot on too.
We still have the same fun and annoying secondary characters from the previous novel, and its great to see the interaction between them all during the case and also even at times with the suspects and witnesses.
I won’t give anything away, but this was another great story in this series and I’m looking forward to the next.
