I wasn’t too fond of the last R.L. Stine re-vamped Fear Street novel that I read a few months ago (no# 3 of the Fear Street Relaunch), but I have always loved R.L. Stone books and even watched the recent Goosebumps movie, so I just had to give this one a go anyway.
This was your typical Fear Street novel, with the weird person from the Fear family and a wild plot with strange things happening.
It was a lot better than the last one, but I’m not entirely sure if I liked the ending on this one.
These are definitely books for teenagers more than anything, and I think that’s why I used to enjoy them a lot more. But that said, you know that going in, and it is what it is. A typical R.L Stine book with twists and turns and all of the weird things.
I would still recommend for a fast read, for fans of all ages.
