*5 Stars*

I really enjoyed this book. It was my first by Rachel Robinson but it won’t be my last. I was captivated from the beginning, and I loved watching things unfold.

Carina was a strong character, stronger than she herself realised. Meeting Smith and getting to know him was such an amazing thing. I won’t ruin the story for anyone, but this has a lot of elements in it, and a lot of things that happen in this book, do happen to real people, and could happen to the world.

There’s humour and strength and tears and smiles. Though at the same time this is a hard book to review. Not for any bad reasons. Just that its hard to explain the feelings that the reader goes through during this book. You will feel everything the characters feel as you’re reading. It’s got that level of connection.

I highly recommend it.
